The Story

THE STORY

1-2-3 Gluten Free was born from a mission to create great tasting, quick and easy gluten-free twists on classic recipes. Growing up in a celiac family, founder Kim Ullner spent years watching her older sister, who was diagnosed at the age of three, struggle with the challenges of maintaining a gluten-free diet. In 2004, when Kim’s two nieces and nephew were also diagnosed with celiac disease, she took action to make the food they loved simple and safe to enjoy — and the rest is delicious history.

The Business

THE BUSINESS

Every facet of 1-2-3 Gluten Free is truly a family affair. All members of the clan from the youngest to the young-at-heart are involved in the business. The most discerning critics — the kids and their friends, both celiac and non-celiac — are the first to taste test any new product before it is released. Many of the mixes in the product lineup are named for children in the family, and they beam with pride to see their names on the grocery store shelves.

The Quality

THE QUALITY

All 1-2-3 Gluten Free products are manufactured in a dedicated U.S. facility so there is no chance for cross-contamination. Strict guidelines are in place for all ingredient suppliers to maintain the taste and integrity of the products, and every all-natural mix is allergen-free, GMO-free, certified gluten-free by the Gluten Free Certification Organization, and certified Kosher by the OU.

The Mixes

THE MIXES

Currently, 1-2-3 Gluten Free is the only national company to fortify six of its mixes, providing those on a gluten-free diet the necessary nutrients to replenish deficiencies. All of the 15 mixes call for common ingredients found in most home pantries, and six mixes are sugar-free, allowing customers to add sweetener at their own discretion. Developed with texture, taste and health in mind using the highest quality natural ingredients, 1-2-3 Gluten Free products also yield nearly double that of other brands, so there’s always more to savor!
